W3C India has organised a workshop on "Web Accessibility" on 11th December 2010 with Yahoo! India
This Workshop has provided the technology developers, web service and solution providers, Policy makers, NGOs and users a unique platform for understanding the common needs and implementation issues But special focus of workshop was on multilingual requirements in web accessibility area and Capturing the requirements for Indian languages as per W3C WCAG 2.0 Standards

W3C India Workshop On Internationalization of E-Governanace Application with Opera Software
The objective and focus of the workshop was to create awareness and training to the, E-Governance applications/ developers/ users and all associated stake holders about the necessity and benefits of using W3C web standards especially in the perspective of internationalization.

World Wide Web: Technology, Standards & Internationalization conference ,May 2010
To catalyze the promotion of W3C web standards in India. During this conference, various web technologies and aspects and challenges of promotion of W3C standards in Indian Languages deliberated, which accelerated the proliferation of W3C Standards in India.
